Ryo and Yamapi were sworn brothers bound by their guardian and also personal trainer, named Yamamoto. Yamapi's parents gave him personally to Yamamoto, due to his stubborness and lack of obedience. Ryo's struggling mother wanted something better for her son so Yamamoto offered to take him in. He taught both boys all there is to know about the world and how it works in the criminal justice industry. But most importantly he taught them how to rely on not just each other but on themselves. Training them both day and night, working with them, and guiding them. All seemed well but as a former prosecutor Yamamoto have many enemies and so he was sought out and murdered.

Yamapi was found unconscious at the scene of Yamamoto's murder and woke up without recalling the incident and was fatally accused. Ryo tried hard to declare his friend's innocence but had no support and no evidence. Fed up, Yamapi took off and was never mentioned or seen ever again. But Ryo continued his training...

Yamapi becomes an infamous assasin in order to trace the murderer of Yamamoto and delcare his innocence. Along the way he runs into a mysterious Maki, who seems to always be invovled with everything around him, she secretly vowed to help him; stating that her father was once an assasin who was murdered and claimed that the person who she knows did it was the same person who killed Yamamoto. At first he wants nothing to do with her, he tries to estrange himself from her but it gets harder when she's not around. In the end he realizes that she's the only thing that stables his restless heart.

Ryo becomes a highly rank bodyguard and takes on a task that he can not refuse; protect an infamous warlord's courageous daughter who is ashamed of her family and herself. He was intent on finding his lost friend and seeking the truth behind Yamamoto's death. Though it was aganist his work, he knew it was the only way to get into the world of criminals. Before he knew who the courageous Erika was, he had already vowed to protect her from her father's sins, and from herself.,, She refuses him at first but accept her fate not knowing that she became more than just a victim to Ryo, he keeps his mind on his mission and continue his task but fought hard to prove himself to Erika that she had more to live for... with him by her side.

Yamapi's goal is now going after Erika's father whom he believed to have something to do with the murders. He decide to take advenge on the daughter instead. Thus, leading him straight into a dual with his formal friend... Ryo, who had done a background search and finds out that Maki is not really whom Yamapi believes her to be and that she might be the cause of all the this... Are they willing to sacriface love and duty to seek the truth or give up and fight to the death from all the deceit and misunderstanding?

Drawn between duty and love, both Yamapi and Ryo are now faced with a greater challenge far worst than death... each other!
