Vitiligo

Vitiligo or Leukoderma is a chronic skin condition that causes loss of pigment, resulting in irregular pale patches of skin. The precise cause of vitiligo is complex and not fully understood. There is some evidence suggesting it is caused by a combinition of auto-immune, genetic and enviromental factors. The population incidence worldwide is considered to be between 1% and 2% (0.74% in the United States)

As a young woman it will affect her. Society isn't kind to sufferers like herself so it is important to seek publicity about her condition. Knowledge is power.

I dont see this as a publicity this is educational. I dont think she takes this is a publicity too, she's willing to stand behind the camera and expose herself because she wants the public to know about vitiligo.

I worked for a man with the same condition. He was a community leader and helped our county to intergrate. Worcester County, MD was practically the very last to end segregation. Oliver Williams is still missed because so much corruption with the state and town workers. They tried to scam Federal agencies out of homeland security funds by officers reporting fake threats.

I know this girl will be an humane and important adult as this fellow was.

Can you imagine the shit Michael Jackson had to go through living with this disorder in front millions of people. Having to cover it up with make up or masks and gloves everytime you step outside of your house. And then people calling you all kinds of names. Sad no wonder he said he saw himself in the Elephant Man story.
