I understand your feelings, but I have to say something. Anne Frank wasn't older during her time writing the diary of the war. She was 13, Zlata was 12 when war started in Sarajevo. I completely agree with you on Anne being more mature, it's well known she was a miracle child, if I can put it like that. And I totally understand you found Zlata's diary less interesting in that way. But please, never again think of it as lame. Don't write it here, cause people could get hurt.

  • I loved reading "Zlata's Diary" when I was in h/s. She's so amazing!

  • I was really curious about you i really wanted to see you .I love your opinions about war, children's react to war.love you

  • I was so disappointed when I read Zlatas diary the first time. Shortly before I had read the diary of Anne Frank and I expected Zlatas book to be as touching and moving as that, but I found it terribly lame. Later I realized that Anne Frank, being older, was more mature and had more experiences to share.

    Thanks for sharing this video:-).

  • Go Zlata! I read her diary, and I too am happy that se is doing well in her life, that she was able to salvage something from her horrible experiences.

  • I am so happy to see her doing well! I just finished reading her story, Zlata's Diary. What happened there was terribly awful. May God bless her.

  • A very inspiring story and very inspiring person. Hey book was very good, one of my favorites.

  • i have read the book few weeks ago. while reading it i can feel the author's suffering and sadness.

hope you guys learned something from the diary.
