  • Leptbreton.

    I agree fully.

  • Checkmate...

William Steinberg conducted the Beethoven 9th finale at a breakneck speed, faster than any version I've seen or heard.

The ARTS network, which airs free in some cable systems, often airs the performance, and it's a wow!

  • Me too

  • Doubletom90:

The piece has an identification at its end.

    I think it is Vienna.

  • Yes, Aimer196, it is quite superb. Bernstein was at his best here, along with the orchestra and soloists.

  • She's the best! Powerful and vocally excellent, n'est ce pas?

  • @RRRGroup2---- you got to love the glorious Ludwig Von!

  • This music just cheered me so much that I recovered from being sick. It just inspired me and gave me strength and I know that I will be strong.

  • This music is too redneck for me.

  • for me,a 43 year old with musical interests ranging through skinhead/punk(cockney rejects, joy division etc),ska/mod(madness,who,jam etc),rock(led zep, pink floyd etc),folk/country(johnny cash, dylan etc) and many other classic performers(beatles, stone roses, buddy holly etc), i consider this piece(the ninth) to simply be the finest music i have ever heard.

    bravo ludvig,bravo.

  • @vmcla Thanks, I'm looking her up to find more..
