Penned by the California-based Harry Bradley and constructed by the Alexander Brothers of Detroit, the famous Deora was honored with the coveted Ridler Award in 1967. The subject of numerous models, it has since been fully restored to show quality and will be showcased at RM Auctions Icons of Speed & Style event, September 26 at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA. A little FYI for all the Deora fans, The original was customized by my Uncle Mike and Uncle Larry Alexander "THE A BROTHERS". It was one of the orignal first 16 Hot Wheels. I had the pleasure of riding in this vechicle in my youth and still have fond memories. And to those asking you entered the Deora thru the front it was first seen as a Concept Car @ various autoshow throughout the United States and also won the RIDDLER award @ the Autorama in Detroit.
