@dbs493 I read that interview as well. Another point he made was that when he wrote that song he was in college, and he doesn't feel the same way he did back then. He wrote a lot of sad stuff in college, and although a lot of his music has a sad under tone he's past that point in his life and he wants to play stuff that he feels strongly about.

@DopeVideo88 Because its nice to relate to something someone else is feeling? Because it's just simply a beautiful song? Not to mention that it's not necessarily a sad song, it's about people moving on.

How could this ever make you happy? I guess people just relate it to different events of their lives... but are you even listening? It is clearly a "sad" song.
