Wiggles interview about Sam's firing goes bad (Today Show Australia)

Anthony is asked some very simple questions about Sam being dumped by the Wiggles. He is completely unprepared which is bizarre for such a well-oiled machine. The fallout from this could do some damage for the Wiggles brand.

Wrong on many counts:First CD 1991 (recorded in Jan as Greg turned 19) no group before that & they officially formed then (20th bday last year.) They earned 50 million with Greg in 06, this year 28 million. sam offered nothing creatively & wrote almost no songs. Greg has a large fan base & kids worldwide under 5 know who he is. BRW says his back catalog sales is the bulk of their earnings.Greg is only 6 yrs older than moran. Greg took them to #1. They slid downhill since.

this was rough but yeah... wow they were not ready for that question... they were there for kids? I think? but i guess that reporter had to get down to the truth about the Wiggles??? hard hitting news story... cmon dude play along or don't have them, he comes off looking like a prick... Wiggles lost some steam anyways. Maybe time to wrap it up...

My grandson was able to see this show in person and at the meet and greet prior to the shows. Greg was good - but Sam was just as good, maybe a little better. Incredulous that Sam worked so long with them and, in particular, Anthony seems to have little knowledge about Sam's feelings - much less any respect toward what he contributed to the shows. How sad that this group handled this so poorly!

Very disappointed in Anthony and this decision!! Have been looking forward to end of Greg episodes on Sprout. Haven't seen Greg do anything close to Shimmy Shimmy Shake!!!
