You don't need to charge it. It has a Lithium- Ion Accu and it don't needs to be charged before you use the device first time. Look at the Apple Page under "Battery Informations". Sorry, I don't have the link right now.
Sorry for my bad English! And enjoy your MacBook Pro, it's really incredible.

well MacBook pro is aluminum which looks so much better, its also lighter and thinner.
The Pro 13 inch starting model has 160 gb while the macbook has 250 GB which is a big difference
other than that everything is still the same
i have a macbook pro
You should have chose Latin. There WAS a Latin option, right?

I'm sure there was. :)

no offence dude, but you should never turn on a computer before charging it completely, otherwise the charge it has when you turn it on will look like a full charge to the pc itself

It didn't negatively affect my battery's performance, I still get 6-8 hours on a charge depending on what I'm doing. I'm sure it's probably best to give it a full charge straight out of the box, but don't ever let it be said that I won't put my gear in harms way for the sake of the viewers. :) Thanks for the comment!

wow, a Youtube Video of a MacBook Pro (mid2009) Screen, played on a MacBook Pro (Middle 2009) looks good xD
i like my MacBook too, i can start to work when Mac OS is started, not like in Windows, where i need to eliminate some Problems before i can begin to work.
sorry for my bad English.

Your English is great! Thanks for the comment and I agree, the screen is brilliant. Also not having the problems you usually get with a PC is a definite plus. :)
