Rhydian has been announced as one of the stars in the musical adaptation of the War of the Worlds. The former X Factor finalist will join Jason Donovan and Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon in the show, composed and produced by Jeff Wayne. Tickets are on sale now, but going fast.

Faryl? FYI.. is putting more money in her pocket than any classical singer in history at her age. Simply no comparison & she didn't bastardize Opera into Simon's Popera invention. Where the only one that truly wins coming out of X-Factor is fidlin in Simon's pocket!
As for Paul Potts? That's what you get when you don't bow to Simon's wishes. Why do you think Faryl & her parents wisely went w/ Universal? haha...
As for Rydian? Should have stayed a footballer, far from Simon's EGO & greed!

Just for your information, Rhydian's second album sold more than Faryl and Paul's second albums. Rhydian's was 6th best selling classical album for 2009, while Faryl's was only 18th.

I don't agree, as I think Simon likes big fast sales that everybody will forget after a few months, based on the hype of the show, than an artist who will have more steady sales over more years. I don't think Simon is good for British music quality.

Leon won on his cute boyish charm and teddy bear appearance...Like you said he's got a very nice and pleasant listening Voice...but there are so many just singing in Pubs that have the same type of Voice...Rhydian is a Performer and Singer extrodinair...He should be around a long time, especially with Simon in his corner...Simon knows talent, no one can dispute that whether you like him or not...Dannii was Rhydian's mentor but Simon signed him...

Well,one year on, RHydian(nov release) has sold 600,000+ albums, fastest selling debut album for 2008,a second album is in the making and his 2009 SOLO tour is sold out. Leon(Oct. release&discounted in 3weeks) sold 100,000 albums got dropped by label.His tour didn't sell, got cancelled and re-sold as SameDiff&Leon JOINT, that didn't sell so got cancelled. SD sold 100,000 albums (like Leon, lol) and got dropped AFTER him.
Rhydian records shows, booked for festivals etc - the real star!
