Mysore Krishnamoorthy, a senior disciple of Mysore V.Doraiswamy Iyengar and a close friend of my family, plays a sweet thillana in Behag, accompanied by his disciple Kasi Visalakshy.

  • Beautiful Doreswamy Iyengar Style ! Wish you had more such videos. Thank you for this one

  • I have been trying in vain to get the swaram and sahithyam of veenai Seshanna's thillana in dharbari Kanada. If anyone knows where I can find this please please let me know.

  • he was geat, a relative of mine, tragically no more. his brother c.ngaraj is doing well on veena and got a doctorate.

  • Nice! What's the date of this?

  • Usually everybody likes fast compositions in instruments....and one finds the Raghuvamsa as the favorite of everybody. It can be seen here that even Behag has some wonderful pieces. Thank you varmaji, for me its even more special since it was the last composition I learnt! There is also another Tillana in Hammer Kalyan, may be if you come across it kindly point me to it.

  • just great
