  • Isn't it the old model? Fulldrive 1?

It isn't the fulldrive 2 mosfet? is it?

  • this is the old model fulldrive 2 (not the mosfet)

  • you've forgotten what guitar it was, and you've forgotten how you recorded it? that sounds a tad dodgy. thanks for putting this vid up, anyways.

  • unfortunately yes

coz ive sold the guitar, and gears were in and out ever since

still remember all the guitars ive ever had tho, but the exact time i used them, totally forgot.

    thanks for watching

  • What kind of guitar are you playing? What amp? Thanks!

  • it's stratocaster

but i kinda forgot how did i record this haha

maybe i used vox pathfinder amp, or i used sansamp GT2 as an amp simulator, or i used software amp simulator.

maybe the third one is the right one, haha sorry!

  • I wish my tube screamer sounded like that

  • It's hard to tell on a Youtube video.

Lately I'm more into amp gain than pedals I think. I just cant find one I'm consistently happy with.

I need to try some of the tube pedals like Semour Duncan Twin Tube

  • Why do people always try to make a negative statement?Does anyone have anything good to say?

  • Well, we never got to the BOOST mode did we ? So we know half of what that pedal can do.

  • I wish I could find a demo of the old fultone 2 next to the mosfet fulltone 2 to hear the difference between the two.

  • will this pedal improve the sound of a solid state amp (Fender 210r 100w). Use a boss bd2 at the moment .Ethier that or save up an buy a tube amp!!

  • @masbeni

what is considered the better one older model or mosfet? I am looking at an older one on craigslist and wondering which is the better on to go with

  • That is what is designed to do, it makes tubes sing. I love it myself, not a real coloring OD but an enhancement. I have no trouble with the tonal range, I like really rich bass without mud and not to much brittle high end. It's probably a difference in amps or tubes. I use the VIntage and MOD FET as well, I have used it as a clean boost as well but you have to be careful with the level boost. I think if your amp is good and you have a good sound this box makes it better.

  • @CarvinTone i do find that it does well by itself..of course, it blends very well with an overdriven tube amp or close to the 'limit' .

i do find that it's pretty dark sounding..i get a good tone out of ti with the tone over '8'.. otherwise, it's dull..

  • This is probably the most misunderstood pedal ever reviewed. This is not a stand alone OD distortion pedal, it is an enhancement pedal to push your tubes on clean or the highest gain. On clean it will push to the breakup point on the highest gain tube dist it adds clarity and articulation. Just using as a typical OD pedal is missing the real purpose of this pedal. Versitle in options. Use it for a really clean boost or to push a dirtier drive. I like the Vintage and MOS Fet on. Mid to 3/4 drive

  • WARNING: Twin Tube is for humbuckers. Kills midrange with single coils. Check out the EHX English Muff'n. Huge in size and sound, most versatile distortion i've ever seen.

  • It is the compression that unfortunately naturally happens when you upload to youtube. In real life, the pedal is very open sounding and not compressed, like it is here.
