This fucking guy... So people voted for it, that's makes it incorrect? What a fucking moron. I rarely say this, but that guy needs a joint BAD. Oh, but be careful... We wouldn't want it to be too potent for Mr.Voting Means Nothing.

The American Medical Ass. (AMA) voted today to reverse its long-held position that marijuana be retained as a Schedule I substance... The AMA adopted a report drafted by the AMA Council on Science & Public Health (CSAPH) entitled, "Use of Cannabis for Medicinal Purposes," .....reduces neuropathic pain, improves appetite & caloric intake especially in patients with reduced muscle mass, & may relieve spasticity & pain..report urges that the Schedule I status of marijuana be reviewed.... google it

CivilRadiant:
Yup. The DEA got caught lying to people about levels of THC supposedly going through the roof earlier this year.

Well said and good points.
When prohibitionists cite the lack of FDA research, they fail to mention that only one source is legally available for researchers -- a laboratory at the University of Mississippi.
If the University of Mississippi doesn't deny a request for research material (marijuana), the DEA will.
The DEA won't even allow farmers to grow hemp (no THC content) when state laws say they legally can.

In response to Eric Voth -- the FDA doesn't support medicine by popular demand?
* Botox - deadly botulin toxin for wrinkles
* Viagra - hard-on medication; can cause blue-tint vision, blurred vision, and sometimes death.
* Chantix - tons of serious side-effects and only 26% effective in stopping smokers (44% stat - 18% placebo = 26%)
* Slentrol - obesity medication for -dogs-
The list goes on and on... I can even pick up meth at Walgreens if I respond properly to doctors - Desoxyn(tm).
JUST LEGALIZE IT ALREADY WTF!!!!
