Antonio banderas looks nothing like Armand but he was still sexy as Armand, though he would have been better to play Santiago. Someone young with red hair or at least a wig should have played Armand just like they put young Kirsten Dunst to play Claudia.

I think Lestat is suppose to be blonde too. And i think Marius was also blonde. I have the book the vampire Armand and if i remember correctly Marius is blonde. not possitive about Lestat it been a while since i read interview with the vampire. never got to finish the vampire Lestat or the queen of the damned. Stuert townsend is the best lestat. He is really hot and the temperment is right too.

it irritates me that in both films, neither of them look like armand is supposed to look.

armand :

1) auburn hair. not black, not blonde, AUBURN.

2) brown eyes.

3)about 17.

both sexy as hell though :)

Antonio Banderas was a hot Armand but the blondie is how armand was supposed to look he was about 17 when he was turned then again Armand nearly died and they dont look the same after they return from 'dying' again. Says so in the book. Thats why he didnt recognize Marius or something like that

I prefer Antonio Banderas as Armand and have always, that actor in Queen of the Damned was horrible as was the film itself.
