  • I drank Shochu at EPCOT and enjoyed it with ice. I was really surprised by the delicate flavor and drinkability.

  • In the spirit of disclosure, just wanted to say that "Jinro" is not technically shochu.

    Jinro is the most widely available South Korean label of soju. Both soju and shochu are distilled beverages, yes, but there's a gigantic difference between soju (usually multiple-distilled) and honkaku (single-distilled) shochu.

    That semantic and distilling-process quibble aside, it's true that Jinro is an economical and unobtrusive (flavor-wise) choice for simple bar cocktails.
