"90% of the American public worth little or no net worth." Oh, how true. We proletarians are so pathetic; what a bunch of sheep most of us are. Living with mediocrity is one thing; accepting and embracing it is another.

Well, now that Smaug is making his big screen debut, Gordon Gekko has been topped as the wealthiest fictional character onscreen. I can just picture the victory speech: "Pah, I could swallow the feeble wealth of that peasant Gekko in one bite-LITERALLY!"

What's capitalism? Nanny state for the rich, market discipline for the poor? State subsidies for the industries of the future disguised as defense expenditure? Large command economies called corporations that have privileges granted to them by states doing the bulk of economic activity?

Bullshit. Socialism works fine if it wasn't for greed.
