This was the first time I ever heard or heard of Sparks. I'll never forget it. 1982 and I was 13 and totally miserable and alone and was the only kid at my private school who didn't come from old money (or even new money) and I didn't like any of the conventional things you're supposed to like and kids treated me like a weirdo even though looking back I wasn't even that original. Saw SNL and Sparks totally electrified me. Have never been able to stop thinking about them since then.

Saw these guys at the Cleveland Agora in the early '80's ('81? '82? ahh, who knows or cares) One of the best shows I've ever seen.
