Mr. Moore's "work" is deplorable. Even Rodin's is almost superior to this non-sense. For a look at real sculpture please see Michealangelo's "David" or "Pieta". Edmonia Lewis' "Cleopatra" as well. For proper esthetics read Ayn Rand's dissertation in her "Romantic Manifesto".

Henry Moore .. amazing sculptures ... I tried to get a job with him once ... some other Aussie had beat me to it (and I have met him). Them tried to get a job in Berlin where Moore had his big castings made ... the german govt stopped that application.
Anyway. I still rub my hands over every one of his sculptures ... beautifull!
