Prison Apparition - TAPS

The following "Ghost Video" was caught by TAPS - The Atlantic Paranormal Society, feautred in a show called GHOST HUNTERS on the Sci Fi Channel (US)

This video has caused a huge stir on the Internet - is it for real?

The following information is from TAPS website:

"We went all the way to Good old Philly, PA to visit Eastern State Penitentiary. The place left an impression on us all. We did capture something odd on video. It is a figure of some sort coming toward the camera and then leaving quickly back down the hallway.

We want you to check it out yourself.

Here are some things to consider when watching this. While it does look like someone in a cape, the figure moves with great speed and does not turn to go back down the hallway, also it doesn't bob up and down & it would have to be about 4 feet tall. If someone was messing with us they would have had to have hidden in there all day, and known where all the cameras were and know when to stop right outside of the field of vision of the DVR camera. Everyone who was there that night was out eating dinner together when this footage was captured.

We can't say 100% what it is. But we had other experiences to support this as potential evidence. So, we present it here for you to examine and you can come to your own conclusions. We are on the fence, what about you?"

I love the show dearly, but it looks like a guy under a blanket. I agree, you can see a shoe or something. Good illusion, but only TAPS and God know the truth. (And the guy under the blanket)

if u stop and start it between 2 and 3 sec u can see a shoe and what appears to be a leg flexed in a way that faces away from the camera

I make people mad because I am a skeptical person. If the film is suspected of being sped up it needs analyzed

@bo12hughes not if its sped up :) I think the dust in front of the shot illustrates a good case for this. there is also the possibility of the IR trying to refocus that can cause similar effects but personally its a guy under a sheet :)

This is real. Nothing human is that slick and graceful. It looks to be as fast as a paddle ball going in and out. Plus, try to find dark material so fluid.

defo a guy under a blanket, then the shot been speeded up... I agree that the dust particulars are moving too quickly also the thing dangling on the left is swaying like it speeded up too... I love the programme but who to say someone isnt taking the mick, say someone from the pen.
