Reprap Project Week 26 (or so.) 3D Printing in Orange

In this week's update, got the new orange PLA from http://www,Ultimachine.com updated the gen 6 board firmware to Marlin, started using Pronterface as host software and SFACT as a slicer.

Had some minor issues changing over to the new firmware and software.

First was the extruder steps per mm with Marlin. I had to cut the step to about half. From what I've gleaned in the Reprap IRC that is normal.

Next was dealing with installing Pronterface. I followed all the instructions in the "read me" file but Python just wouldn't open it. I fell back on to the .exe file instead.Thanks to Kliment for making a great product!

Last was learning how to use the new Skeinforge SFACT. It reduces a lot of the useless stuff that made calibrating a pain and starts off with a very decent print. I had to change a few settings to get close to where I was with Skeinforge 41 and FiveD a week ago. I didn't have any strings before, but now I have very small ones. No biggie.

I do love that I am actually getting 0.46 mm walls! That is incredibly thin for my bot! I was running with 0.8 before. I hope this will make printing pulleys and gears much easier.
