Over 5 minutes into OT, Sergei Brylin makes a great pass to the trailer Bobby Holik to create a 2 on 1 with him and Randy McKay. Holik makes a deke and a nice backhand pass to McKay for the redirection past Curtis Joseph for the game winner!

Funny seeing this goal on video, it looks different than I remember it. This still is the only Devils game I've had the privilege to see in person in New Jersey, and there were about a thousand Leafs fans in the building making noise when the Leafs had tied it. I remember Brylin coming down the left side, and as soon as he let go of the puck, 19,040 in attendance knew it was going into the back of the net. I didn't remember McKay standing still before he took the pass, though.

I remember this game. Devils blew a 4-1 and 5-2 lead in the 3rd period. McKay was on the ice for all 5 goals against. Talk about making amends.

dumbass aki berg trying to shoot the puck through a human being might have cost us this series. leafs go to the cup finals if they win this game

neil smith is an idiot. how could it be mckay's first shot of the playoffs if he had like 2 or 3 goals against carolina.
