The single most important site of the day, and hopefully for a long time to come. Great work! http://theuptake.org/ I was glued to my PC for days. Revolutionary stuff. A live, real time, unedited stream is how I viewed most of the events that unfolded thanks to the young people 'out there' with cameras. MSM should be deeply ashamed.
"The deal required the Republican Party's host committee to buy insurance covering up to $10 million in damages and unlimited legal costs for law enforcement officials accused of brutality, violating civil rights and other misconduct." http://tinyurl.com/6alwz7
'Normally it is the taxpayers, the citizens of a community, who bear the cost of liability for misconduct by their government officials. That way, the officials must answer to the public for their actions. By the RNC purchasing liability insurance on behalf of the city of St. Paul to cover claims of police misconduct, they have literally funded the abuse of police power in order to enhance their political agenda.' -unknown

I was there for the final day of the RNC. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the footage at 2:58 is on University Avenue when the police line opened fire without warning. I'm pretty sure, because I remember that the attack escalated in a brutal fashion. I was there covering the event for a personal video. I was in the back of the crowd, still I felt I had to run for my life. I had to go over the fence behind the Bank of America just to keep from getting shot at.
I'm no optimist. I've seen enough of the world to know that there are bad cops. But they number less than the media makes out to be, Many want to keep the community safe and go home. Unfortunately, it is people like you who are indoctrinated into the worse of the left-wing. You want to bad mouth the police, fine, free speech. But you should go out to the busiest street in your town and see how long you last.
Look this video isn't a left wing indoctrination. This actually happened. St. Paul was under marshal law during the RNC. If you went down there during the RNC you were putting yourself at risk. A 16 year old girl walking out of Macy's was arrested with my brother, a reporter from City Pages, and a reporter from MTV news. All cameras were confiscated and held for 3 days, holding any immediate coverage of this overpowering show of force. None of this was shown on our "liberal" media
This has nothing to do with liberal or conservative politics. This is an isolated event that went completely under the national radar. They funneled our peaceful protest onto University Avenue, boxed us in, and gassed us without warning. 2:58 is one of the only shots of it because they arrested all the press. There's a City Page article that coo-berates my story and I'll find it if you have the audacity to spout your conservative bullshit further.

Yeah, no need to protest that.....
And a highly judgmental attitude that they are "better" than those they "protect"
