Frustrated with deploying and managing technology, Centerville High School in Ohio began reexamining their PC-centric strategy and came to the logical solution: Wyse thin computers with OS and applications dynamically delivered by Wyse WSM on the server.

  • I could believe to this video but..

WYSE WSM is just a headache besides being a very good idea hypothetically...

    - If the server stops for any reason or fails everything does so

    - If your network has a slightest problem your clients boot very slowly - I mean VERY

    - If a user or users shut down their clients improperly WYSE WSM will still keep the cache and refuses to boot it up again (I/O interface error- rebooting)

    - Single Point of Failure is eminent

    Conclusion: WYSE is a disappointment...

  • our school used to have them there realy slow n keep crashing so they bought asus eee boxes
