you know, i've only played vf3 casually when i was a kid, and i never really understood how fighting games worked back then. But i've heard of how dominate akira kid was in the maximum battle tournament and everyone in korea was not surprised that he won it. actually, they were skeptical of the fact that ige-lau took second place, since most thought he wasn't "that good."
