Now, here is a tape which has caused a number of technical problems for BBC2 when it first aired in April 1992 as the CD became tangled by the time it had its first full 50-minute playing in June 1992, but this was soon altered and came back online the next month as the originally intended replacement for Tina but, due to technical difficulties with the other trade test CDs to replace the future tapes (Jump In should have replaced Time Kode in late 1992 but this didn't actually happen until December 1994). In April 1993 it received its final playing on BBC2 before it transferred over to BBC1 in the July to replace Inter State 48 and then in turn was replaced by Choco Coca, BBC1's last ever tape before 24-hour transmissions began.
Hilarious how the BBC channels lost their programme(s)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To my knowledge Trevor Lyttleton isn't realted to Humphrey.
There was a commercial release in Japan on the polydor label entitled 'Mariposa'. There may have been more but I don't believe there was any commercial releases in the UK. I'm not sure if his company Light Music Ltd (& All Time Gold) are still 'live' as a music library. A shame really as his orchestra has a very distinctive sound

I agree. I have really enjoyed Trevor Lyttleton's music, too. I can only ever remember "Soledad", but the other selections that I've heard on here are great as well (Decanter, Tina).
Did Trevor Lyttleton ever release any music commercially? Is he any relation to the late Humphrey Lyttleton?

Trevor Lyttleton was a prolific composer of light music and I have to say, I like the majority of his music. Wonder if they could have squeezed another compilation out of his material? I reckon they could have done
