2009 SkillsUSA National Conference. welding fabrication first place team (post secondary)
Representing American River College Welding Dept.
Objective:
- Build a tool box/cabinet of your own design.
- from a provided material list, create a Blueprint that meets AWS standards.
- with in 6.5 hour time limit
also including:
-5 oxy fuel cuts
-5 of each (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW) welds
- while minimizing waste

I got to spend last week at a seminar with Melvin Johnson down in Miami. Hes a great guy and im sure hes a wonderful teaccher. Nice job guys.
