  • Dear type3secretion, thank you sooo much for sharing all these videos. For how much I love Michael I think it's time to do some maths. He died in 1997 leaving two children Mischa, 13, and Jasper, 11... They're now in their mid/late 20s...Do they still need help??

  • @PasuTech Yeah, I probably need to go through the videos and remove that. I've had a few comments to that effect.

  • While in college in 1986 in Oregon I was working at a pizza parlor one night when a guy and a woman walked just before closing. They told me they were musicians in town for a concert. I told the guy I played guitar and he asked me if I wanted to come over to the hotel after work to jam a bit but I couldn't.

The next day I went to the concert. It was Michael Hedges and Liz Story. I will forever be grateful I met them and forever be regretful I didn't take Michael up on his offer.

  • I met Michael once but I didn't know who I was talking too. I actually played with him once, no t realizing the gravity of the moment. Eventually I chose to stick to studies and have be a success in this life according to regular folks but never lifting off like I did the night like the night with Michael playing the music that drove me to to freedom. I am thankful for every moment I every had with him!!!!!!!!!!

  • I believe Michael Hedges is the only artist that has actually touched me in a way i can't explain, when i listen to his music i feel alive and new , if i feel down or if i feel happy i always listen to him and everything is alright ,he is what i would love to be some day ,now if that ever happens i cant tell now... thanks hedges

  • this guy is such a inspiration for every guitar player rest in peace dear mr hedges

  • A vegetarian diet, running, yoga, and playing guitar 4 hrs a day, a vigorous touring schedule, and stress of not seeing your loved ones for months at a time. Some comments here display a bit of ignorance (sorry). In the american mind, if people aren't plump and juicy, they aren't healthy. But perhaps THIS is what a person of extreme awareness and sensitivity about his body and the environment looks like.

  • @GangreneVagina I dont know if he was sick but he looked like he was. Once I first looked him up I thought he died of cancer because he lost his hair. And its very hard to find him with a studio recording, so your stuck with digital cameras I guess

  • This was what... a year before his fatal car accident? Was he sick? He sounds good actually GREAT, but looks like an AIDS victim. And what's with the camera? This is 1996, not 1946. Sheesh!

  • his biceps flated. he should work out

  • holy shit.

    i love this!

  • Amazing!
