Skullsy's "How to install mods for Oblivion"

Ok, so some of you were asking how to install Oblivion Mods, or explaining how the mods weren't working correctly.

If you install your oblivion mods exactly how I show in this video, have the latest patch, and the latest version of OBSE (+ other mod specific requirements) they should work.

If not, it's your computer, a part of the download was corrupted, or something in your vanilla Oblivion's files is messed up.

Try reinstalling the mod, if that doesn't work, try reinstalling the game itself.

please help i try to download the patch and it just says it cant find the old file but can find a file with the same name and no update since file contents do not match please reply

@spaztikchikenproduct If you downloaded a NoDVD/NoCD cracked .exe file, and replaced the original, then it won't work. You need the original. If you don't have it, you need to reinstall your game to get it back.

i did everything exactly as you said to do and it didnt work. The only file that shows up is the one for the game itself. For some reason, whenever i try to install a mod it never works. People say how simple it is, then it makes me fell stupid. :(

"help" i download and install the mod and nothing is changed when i play it :( and ideas why it wont work?

i did all of it but the mod does not seem to work and it was the 1st mod that i used

@GunGamers Reinstall the mod and make sure the Meshes go into the right folder. Easy as that.

@GunGamers That means you don't have the original .exe . If you are using a NoDVD Crack, or any other application file than the original, it won't update.

@MrBlamAlmighty Nope none at all for any game on the market at max settings. Haven't tryed crysis yet but I heard it was the same, I'm waiting for Crysis 2 to come out before I find my 5850's breaking point (:<
