The latest iteration of No Child Left Behind comes before a Senate committee tomorrow with bipartisan support. But if Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has anything to say about it, the bill won't go anywhere fast.

Paul also addressed the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protest in New York and similar demonstrations taking place across America. He warned of the "mob mentality" on display and the "lurking danger" of the movement.

Paul, the Tea Party favorite who won election last November, has promised to introduce 100 amendments to No Child Left Behind which comes before a Senate committee tomorrow, including a complete repeal of the legislation.

  • Screw the fascist schools! They are corrupted with re-runs of the holocaust! Bring in the parents of the children that have been raped threw this blood sucking law! If it was your childs information being sold to the military and they got raped or harassed by military recruiters you'd be singing a different tune! Stop this violation to human rights!!!! Stop the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND 'ACT:!

  • Rand Paul now disappoints me. Thought he would be more like his dad.

  • @rocknrolldaddio Let Theocratic Education prosper!

  • Spoiler anthem sucks the last 2 chapter is some ass hole ranting about how amazing he is

  • I think the left really doesn't give Rand a fair shake, but in this case he had an opportunity to say something good (anti-fed, anti-bailout) about OWS but instead took the standard Republican route.

  • Education mediocrity and big gov codependent cronyism has been the products the the Dept of Education. We can do better as a country and come up with better ways of educating our children. Rand Paul is not afraid to speak it and reform it!
