Honolulu baby, where'd you get those eyes
And that dark complexion, I just idolize
Honolulu baby, where'd you get that style
And the pretty red lips, and that sunny smile

You are no Adelina Patti, but i"m very charmed by your dress and make up that are perfectly congruent with the era of this song. In this respect I think you have great taste1

That was fantastic! I felt like I was back in time for a second, then back on the islands and then I was just flabbergasted! Thumbs up!
it was a mic artifact effect??? hahah---i've been spending the whole afternoon practicing emulating that effect in my strumming hahahahh. i'll send you an mp3 one day when i've recorded it properly.

@crumpybumpystick Actually it was just a crappy mic!

Wow you are beautiful ;) I love your pronounciation of honolulu. What is the strum pattern you are using in this song? It sounds like you are muting the strings during the strum with your strumming hand?

@crumpybumpystick Thank you very much! I think I used the easiest pattern in the world. I'm not really good at describing a strumming pattern but I'm sure you will figure it out if you listen to the cover a few more times. Concerning the "muted" sound, it probably has something to do with the microphone I used haha, but I'm glad you liked that unwanted effect :)
