Hi, I'm a spanish student boy and I want to know how is my English accent?
I need your help for improve.
Thank you very much!

I have readed this text:

"The federal government took its first formal step to regulate global warming pollution on Thursday by issuing final rules for greenhouse gas emissions for automobiles and light trucks.

The move ends a 30-year battle between regulators and automakers but sets the stage for what may be a bigger fight over climate-altering emissions from stationary sources like power plants, steel mills and refineries.

The new tailpipe rules, jointly written by the Transportation Department and the Environmental Protection Agency, set emissions and mileage standards that would translate to a combined fuel economy average for new vehicles of 35.5 miles per gallon by 2016. Most drivers will see lower mileage figures in actual driving.

The rules are expected to cut emissions of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases about 30 percent from 2012 to 2016.

Officials said the program would save the owner of an average 2016 car about $3,000 in fuel over the life of the vehicle and eliminate emissions of nearly a billion tons of greenhouse gases over the lives of all regulated vehicles.

  • @tylereightynine she? I don't understand you

  • pero no deberias leer, par aprender mejor intenta decir lsa cosas esforzandote a recorda las palabras en inglés

  • @Diavolo10000 You're absolutely right. But I don`t master the oral skills yet

You know that in Spain, the school teaches all the grammar.

  • It isn't so bad and it's ENGLISH! I think English is one of the hardest languages for people to learn because it is so irregular and the spellings are so random, and then there's the thick sounds...I would gladly help you with English if you could help me with Spanish because I live in the United States and I think I'm going to go to Spain for college :)

  • @apc1no yeah the spelling are so random, it is true. I think that the chinnese languaje is more difficult, or arabian languaje or in adition russian.

And spanish there are a lot of tenses, but i think is more or less easy xd

I can help you if you need of course, what college are you going to go?

  • I love that voice

  • Good job on your hard work with English. Some common things you can correct that I saw if you want to sound like native speaker.

    1. You pronounced your v's like b's. Very common with spanish speakers. For the V sound you have to but your top teeth on your lips and say it like you would a b sound.

    2. Another common spanish thing is the pause with "ehh". If you want to sound American, its an "uhh" sound. Its the same sound as the u in hummingbird.

    3. Adding e's before s words. Spain not Eh spain

  • English is one of the EASIEST LANGUAGES to learn in the world! Only Americans ever make the comment that English is hard to learn. It's b/c Americans only speak one language while the rest of the world speaks their language AND English.

  • You speak English quite well. A derivative of German, it's a very difficult language.

  • You sound like an Irish ;) x good luck on your tests and I might see you soon when I come to Spain for a while :)

  • Your accent is great, don't lose it. Never will lose mine it is a way to distinguishyourself from other people. Even though i'm an American student, I will never lose my spaniard accent, i'm from Sevilla. Well met kinsman.

  • i just noticed spanish and filipino accent sounds alike

  • Tienes que practicar mucho! Deberias aprender la diferencia de "b" y "v" en ingles y de "th" and "d" y tienes que pronunciar palabra entera. Me he dado cuenta que muchas espanolas no pronuncian el final de las palabras.

  • You sound spanish, it's very very hard to loose your native accent but possible if you try hard enough! Yo puedo ayudarte con ingles si tu necesitas. Mi espanol no esta perfecto pero yo puedo entender mucho y es posible que puedo traducir cosas, o ayudarte con el accento. :)

  • you sound very spanish, but it is very easy to understand you so thats good.its very hard the english accent,my gran was spanish and she lived here in england for almost 50 years, but still sounded spanish so unfortunatly, due to the way spanish is spoken it is far too different from english plus we have alot more vowel sounds then in spanish, all you can do is be the best you can be.
