Eva shares her story of being diagnosed with leukemia at the age of four, with a look into the process of her treatment and recovery. In the same year of her diagnosis, her father Timothy Hooten was also diagnosed with leukemia, and Eva expresses her experience of triumph and hope through those challenges.
I'm only 14 years old, and I've never known anyone directly who had cancer but it just so sad. :( I'm doing a project on Leukemia right now, and did one last year too. I'm thinking of being an oncologist when I'm older, but I don't know if i'm strong enough to see kids go through that.

Thank you for sharing your story. My nephew was diagnosed with A.L.L about a year ago at age 6. It's been a long road already and, as you know, he has years of treatment to go. Not only is Eva a special girl, but she has amazing parents! I can only hope that Eva's Dad will have the same success. Hope is putting faith to work, when doubting would be easier. God bless you and your family. Stay strong!
