A couple of errors, the APS-C, not APS, is not a backlit sensor. It is also not pronounced Pentex, but PentAx, like an axe. I am a Pentax user and I can tell you that to properly develop a Canon raw file you need Canon's DPP, nothing else works as good. Maybe in the future, but not now. You need to get your facts in order before you do an analysis. Otherwise good analysis.

@johnnyass68 K10D had noise at ISO400. K-5 works perfectly even at iso3200. With +0,7EV it works perfectly at even higher..
(I have K20D and K5)

because of this video that you've post.. i am thinking to buy my own k5 and i just wanna know if there is any K5 lens adapter for cannon lenses.. because i already have canon lenses (i own a canon 7d) and i don't want to spend much for another lenses..
