the MSX version was amazingly superior to the NES version. However the NES version had FAR better music

well i dont care what avgn said, was one of my favorite games on nes, was very innovative for its time and i loved how you got a sense of exploration, almost like zelda with guns. for its time was 5 outta 5 game

I've played 20 minutes so far, made quite a bit of progress if I do say so myself. Can't remember what music played though. I guess I heard theme of Tara a lot lol

Never played the NES version, the music sounds pretty cool though. Theme of Tara gets annoying after a while, especially considering how long that game is -.-

Am I the only one who thinks the NES metal gear was better than the MSX Metal Gear...? Probably so... I also think the same for the NES and MSX sequels. I usually always like Japanese versions of everything better than US releases but metal gear and it's sequel is an exception.
