@sabdow um, actually he doesn't

@donmeswimee Really? It's illegal in most western countries to make you work more than 48 hours in a single week. Therefore banks often ask you to sign whether you agree to work more than 48 hours or not. It doesn't matter whether you put yes or no - they still hire you but I wonder what the difference is? I mean if they still hire you who would put yes? But then I'm wondering if you put no maybe they will get rid of you soon?

@kotapaka hahah trust me buddy, 75-90 is pretty usual for starters!

90 hours a week? I think that's overstated. No company would want an employee working 90 hours a week with intricate and complex work because he/she would make a mess of it. The same reason why pilots are not allowed to fly more than a certain number of hours a week.

LOL the interviewer looks like Michael Scott

@JonnyRocketfingers ordinary people can't be in investment banking anyway!!if you are ready to be extraordinary you can get there.but i think you are destined to lose from the beginning by accepting that you are an pordinary person!!!

All I've learnt is that you need to be an arrogant douche who gives automated cliché answers regarding all the (non) respectable things that you did, even though most interviewees haven't actually done all of that in their life. Most people aren't going to be captain of the debating team, active and voluntary work and had top class internships, or if they had, they probably wouldn't need much help with an interview. This is pretty useless for ordinary people.
