I think this needed to be done long, long ago. Haven't done it too well, I think, but eh. I used most of Vicarious Atonement and the part that,s the best bit of Tetragrammaton IMO.
BEWARE THE STATIC AT 6:10. I PUT IT THERE ON PURPOSE, BUT IF YOU TURN UP YOUR VOLUME MUCH IT COULD BE VERY ANNOYINGLY LOUD. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

idk why but i think a lot of the mars volta fits in with serial experiments lain. just the theme i mean, i don't know about syncing it with animation.

In fact, I wanted to make an Ergo Proxy AMV for a while, but I'd have to download the episodes and, well, the current deal we have with my ISP is shit, pretty much, and my parents would not be too happy about paying the extra. But yes, I might just come up with another video in the near future, for people who might be interested.

Lol, checked the sites who linked to this out of curiosity, and it's been favourited 42 times. My H2G2 fandom tells me I should want it to stay that way, but hey, if you like it, go ahread.
Also, for whoever may be interested (this seems to be surprisingly popular considering I sort of botched it...) I'm thinking of making a Ghost in the Shell AMV, but it doesn't work so well with most of what I have in mind. I'd certainly make an Ergo Proxy one [Lol Youtube comment character limit]

Mars Volta with their Vicarious Atonement are simply amazing -_- The amv is also very good,although it's art is simply awful.After all,the story line fits perfectly for this song;still,haven't seen the anime.

Actually, I'd say Amputechture as a whole is their worst album yet, don't like it much, but it was the song I had in mind when I got the idea, so that's what I made it with.
