Thanks Vegakade for your video response. Yes; in that lego unicycle both rotating axes are parallel to the ground; the same as in Murata girl and Unibot. I tried to use the same structure of my two wheeled robot and eventually change from one-wheel mode to two wheel mode and vice-versa but I guess it's just not possible because the rotating axe of the wheel is not parallel to the ground and then the two balancing axes cannot be controlled independently as one movement affects the other.
