@aquafina2000 - you are one of those who are guilty of pre-judging Maricel. What happen to those maids? You honestly believe in their exaggerated ala-soap opera stories? If they were really abused, where are their bruises and medical examination (supposedly)? What happened to Mr. Tulfo who was supposed to bring out justice for them? Maricel is not keen to publicity (good or bad) unlike Sharon Cuneta or Kris Aquino. The maids were obviously out for money, and Maricel outsmart them all!

Who did she sleep with to get that award? Maricel Soriano is an overrated old baggy-eyed philippine actress known for crocodile tears slapping people and yelling a lot in movies. This has-been actress was summoned to court for abusing her maids, not feeding them, and threatening to kill them. Instead of showing up she ignores the court and vacations in Europe, what a BITCH, she thinks she's above the law. Karma will come back to her ten times!

Watched this program over RPN-9 in March, 1995. Mary came from a previous shooting before attending the Star Awards rites. She came from Ilocos Norte during that time because she was completing scenes for "Inagaw Mo ang lahat sa Akin".
