@urmomxl9990 thats bullshit. when you beaten up, that means you can return the favor, thus making a lot easier for you to obtain the ball. duh.

@xlaxfreak03 I totally agree. when you play girls lacrosse you have to find a way to get the ball from someone without making a fowl or hitting the opponent which is a lot more difficult. Plus, we have a lot less protection and those balls hurt when they hit your arms or stomach

@lollilox I know it does look hard, but its not. its really easy to learn how to play. however if you're not a fast runner or a quick thinker, it will be a bit difficult

these are actually highschool seniors who are playing in college

its not easy....its just like any other sport. its hard if you dont practice

@luvergirl260 I agree it's harder to learn than that but I could do wonderful stick work just goofing around but playing box lacrosse I couldn't relax when the self preservation light turned on in my head. I loved lacrosse but playing on cement was brutal.

What kind of ball are these girls playing with? My brother had two black eyes and his cheek bone broken by a lacrosse ball. His eyes were so swollen he couldn't see out of them.

@perryfan10 wow was he wearing eye protection like goggles?

@Lexightonportia He was playing box lacrosse with full padding and helmet but no eye protection. HIs opponent let go a full force shot from 6 ft. in front of him which struck him in the cheek. Another injury was to bite a large hole in the middle of his tongue when checked. Whatever it was sewn up with smelled really bad after a while.
