1959. Yeah 50 years is enough time for uranium isotopes and other radioactive material to dissipate. =\ Wishful thinking....try 6 and a half billion years. If we can get our congress representatives to give a rats ass, perhaps we can get it cleaned up sooner.

A couple things you forgot, Hopetown was cool Bob Hope owned it, The Manson family, one of the first Punk bands the great RF7 came from there and a lot of us saw the Grey style aliens there and not the ones from Mexico I remember loud rocket sounds going off every Sunday night and seeing colored smoke in the air. Running around in the orange grows, hearing trains and Ralphs and Thrifty mart and the 1st 7/11

@pc4gamers : I know all about it, re-read my post, try to find some positive in the world, everything is not doom and gloom. I didn't write a thesis on the environmental pathogens in Simi Valley, I had fun with a video of some shots I took and posted it on youtube, relax a little.

good shoots of the mountains (in kern county), the 23 (in moorpark), the orchards (moorpark too) the rolling hills of Woodranch (only technically simi), should've shown the gigantic la suburb that simi really is

@10zimmer , there is much more of the city to see, just not enough time to get it all in, perhaps next time.
