Markeaton Lady leaves the railway headin to Exmoor for a rebuild. Until Lady returns the Markeaton Park Light Railway will have to cope with just 1 loco, that loco being D5905 City of Derby.

She's been sold the Evesham Vale Light Railway.

Shame really.

@Firrboxfryup Yeah we did a deal with the owners of EVLR in which we took Cromwell in part exchange. After the owner of the Markeaton Light Railway decided to sell the railway Cromwell was sold back to Evesham. A deal has been struck in which Cromwell will come to Markeaton on loan until the railway is sold, upon which she will return to Evesham. I think Markeaton Lady is at the EVLR' s owners workshop, but I could be wrong.

@steampics I'm told they are going to be building a bigger purpose built shed for her as she is to big for the shed they've got lol!
