Message To Ma

Taiwan leader Ma Ying-Jeou met with chief of mainland's Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait (ARATS) Chen Yunlin in Taipei at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Ma said during the meeting that the landmark talks between Chen and Taiwan's Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) chairman Chiang Pin-kung in Taiwan were significant and marked a big step in cross-strait relations. Ma said he believed the development was the wish of the people of both sides Only HIMSELF believes that - and would contribute to cross-strait stability and prosperity in other words, he is giving up Taiwan to China so their pockets will become bigger and neither Chen nor Ma care about the citizens of Taiwan.
Chen was in Taiwan for a historic five-day visit at the invitation of the SEF. His visit is the first ever meeting between the ARATS and SEF leaders in Taiwan. On Tuesday, Chen and Chiang held talks and signed four agreements on direct shipping and flights, postal services and food safety. Professionals from the mainland and Taiwan also discussed financial and economic cooperation. This meeting lasted for a little over 7 MINUTES!!! A lot of Taiwanese (KMT and DPP supporters) are worried that there is something "bigger" behind that meeting, is Ma "giving up - selling" Taiwan to China? People wanted transparency about all this and so they went on the street to show their worries and disagreements but while the police of Taiwan protected Chen (from China) very well, they used violence against their own people and by doing so, they demonstrated that freedom of speech is eradicated under Mas govern!

I witness the violence that the police used against regular citizens so I decided to make this slideshow (pictures from the Taipei Times) to show the world that Taiwanese people are not happy about all this and that Mas government are not respecting Human rights. The Media will never show you this because it is in their interests not to do so. Many countries are working with China, Ma wants to protect China and do everything possible to make people outside of Taiwan "BELIEVE" that the meeting went peacefully without any protests! Hey Alphahsiao, I guess you already know this but Taiwan isn't an independent country yet BUT we (Taiwanese and foreigners) have to hope that Ma isn't going to get what he wants...sell out Taiwan to China! Some Taiwanese should be ashamed of themselves right now to have elected such a poor president and if they don't feel ashamed then they better go back where they came from...China! Listen, chaps, forget about beating the KMT at the ballot box, the KMT has successfully gerrymandered the electoral system; we must go for civil disobedience; experience shows that if some 70% of the oppressed populace adheres to the peaceful struggle (strikes, blockades, boycotts, refusal to pay fines and to co-operate with the authorities in any shape and form) the KMT government will be KO at the bat of an eye.
