That whistle is really inaccurate

Powerful engine, but my MTH railking SD70M-2 can pull 40 cars up a 4% grade. I'm sure this engine could handle double this load. You should test its maximum pulling power and make a video of it (:

am new 2 rr-ing (last was h.o. a long time ago) and am watching your wonderful trains-just purchased a atlas o starter set 4 my grandson. would like 2 know how these more sophisticated trains work-sent an e-mail 2 mth-premier-haven't heard back. looked at their lirr 4-6-0 prr g-5 - my grandfather fired one & i rode in it when i was a child.

So cool! :)

@GOCHICOAPRODUCTIONS yeah, you can.

can you run lionel trains on mth track?
O-gauge track is 1.25" between the outside rails. In general, O-gauge trains run on O-gauge track regardless of make or model. What you need to watch out for are the oddballs, like trying to run prewar tinplate with its very deep flanges on modern hi-rail track with its low rail height where the flanges will hit the ties.
