"Donnie's NEW HIT SINGLE Meth & Man Ass! -- A tribute to Ted Haggard." -- One joke deserves another!
Donnie Davies saw it right, as a joke or in all seriousness, to post his music video, "The Bible Says" on YouTube, Google Video and MySpace.
I'm proud to report that ALL three of these video providers have taken down his song of hate, where he sings "God hates fags" and "If you're a fag, God hates you too!"
However, for whatever reason this video was created, it's still simply HATE SPEECH.
The problem is that this is being presented as a real song and a real ministry, including a webpage that touts it's C.H.O.P.S. programme (CHANGING HOMOSEXUALS into ORDINARY PEOPLE.) What, exaclty is an ORDINARY person? A heterosexual?
Donnie, featured in his pink shirt in this video, is a cute bearish type -- if this was done as a JOKE for publicity, it was in POOR TASTE. If he's serious, he needs help!
I have deleted his original hate-spewing music from his video and replaced it with "Meth and Man Ass" by Paul Hipp!
I think it works better!

UPDATE: Thanks to the sleuthing of Dallas' Bob Stoller, "Pastor Donnie Davies" has been exposed as Dallas-area actor Joey Oglesby.
Joey Oglesby recently appeared in a production of Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical. Joey Oglesby is a former member of the Chicken & Pickle Guys sketch comedy duo.
Finally. Our long national nightmare is over. I tip my hat to Joey Oglesby and his crew for a fun diversion. Now we can go back to worrying about the war! I'll post the behind-the-scenes details and the reason for all this drama, as soon as I know it.
Subtle hint: Somebody has reserved the domain "ChopsTheMovie.com"
The entire "The Bible Says" music video, and the website for "Love God's Way" is also nothing more than elaborate hoax used as an attention-getting vehicle for Oglesby's career.
What do YOU think about Mr. Oglesby gaining popularity through implied homophobia? Whether he was serious or not, his 'joke' has hurt people's feelings and has provided validation for some or the religious right-wing groups. How would other minorities feel if they had been targeted?

Our buddy "Donnie" saw fit to use yet another video hosting site, http://www.glumbert.com/media/ to put his music video of hatrid. Once I found it out there (which wasn't too difficult, as Donnie was embedding it on his site), I made a polite request to the owner of glumbert.com and it was gone within the hour, with the reply:
"The video was just removed. Although the video has entertainment value because it's so ridiculous, I found that the band was linking to glumbert from their site, and to that end, I do not want to be guilty by association.
