Neil and this band (Crazy Horse) played at the Roxy sometime within this timeframe. Elton John played there the same evening. I've searched high & low for a recording and can't find anything. This was all in promoting his Tonight's the Night album which was shelved and not released until 1975. Neil composed his best work during this period.

@jonahbegone I think you are right. Even the Buffalo Springfield version is not really psychedelic. But acid rock is different that psychedelia but my head is not wired right to remember or look up the difference. I guess I just thought Neil's demeanor was cool and his humor was "laughable". But Buffalo Springfield did some very psychedelic stuff that Neil wrote. Mr Soul is great though maybe that is more Rap than Psychedelia if I am pressed on the point. Take care

@11xzxzxz This is an acid rock song?!? More evidence that Neil's head is wired completely differently than everyone else's in rock.

Neil somewhere said that this was his first acid rock song he wrote and that he was "cashing in" on psychedelia or was it psychodrama. Anyway the dude was really funny at one time.

what a rarity! I love it so much. May I have the mp3 audiofile of this?

Prefer the piano led solo version but this is still good.
