its creepy to think that Pokey (Porky) was once just a child that got taken into all this evil. You reckon he would've freaked out heaps when he saw buzz-buzz at the start to tell Ness about the whole Giygas thing.

@NintendoCult he is talking about how itoi, the creator of earthbound. walked in to an adult movie when he was young and was shocked when he saw a rape scene... that was actually a murder scene... but he mistook it as rape at the time...

Thats what inspired Gigyas....

@NintendoCult Apparently, the final two forms of Giygas were based on a time where the creator of Earthbound (when he was young) saw a sex scene in a movie and thought it was a rape scene.

Do you see it now? If you don't let me just say it: Gigyas is a living fetus. I mean, if you look at the red lines, it's shaped like a head. More importantly, a woman's head. Due to childhood nightmares from the producer. His mom suffered in the hospital a lot. :(

It showed Ness in the devil's machine and tried to hell him that they could be friends. Pokey calls it pure evil, but every word out of his mouth the entire game is a lie.

The room leading up to Giygas is a vagina, and the Devil's Machine is a cervix. Giygax's dialogue is based on a rape; its lines come from the victim. You went back in time to abort a fetus. Giygas wasn't even evil during the fight.
