The mid-60's saw a reformation of the Platters with original members Herb Reed and David Lynch now being joined by new lead singer, Sonny Turner, Nate Nelson (former lead singer with the Flamingos), and Sandra Dawn replacing Zola Taylor's female vocals. The "new" Platters charted several times, and "With This Ring" would be their biggest hit, peaking at #14 in March of 1967.

This song was left out of the Platters Anthology and boy am I mad over that. I bought it for this song specifically and it wasn't there!

@MeanMeanLisa The reason this recording was left out is because this is not the original 50's Platters singing it. That group disbanded around 1961 and was reformed with totally new people who recorded this along with "Washed Ashore" and "I Love You 1000 Times".
