http://www.voicesofeden.com. How did the ancient Israelites make music? How did the biblical prophetess Miriam lead them in song after crossing the parted seas? Eliana Gilad sings and plays the worlds oldest drums in ancient sites of Galilee in the Holy land, musically creating inner quiet and peace, one voice at a time.

  • NO IT IS NOT ANCIENT ISRAEL, IT IS NEW AGE

  • @abzgroupinc I celebrate Hannukah and Christmas. I got Kosher turkey for Thanksgiving, approved by a rabbi. See I still keep kosher (though Chinese pork doesn't count in our family) so yes.

Hi there, thanks for your response... it sounds a little like me. I do my best to surround your self with good people, with whom I share a similar philosophy of life... who come from different background, religious or otherwise, Almost always I get invited to celebrate Christmas and other Christian holidays, with them and

the same goes the other way. Though, I feel and most connected to is Judaism.

Have fun at both upcoming holidays.

  • @abzgroupinc A Jew who converted to Roman-Catholicsm. But still celebrates Jewish holidays, keeps Jewish traditions, etc.etc.etc. Which also includes being kashrut or kosher.

    What is a Hebrew Catholic?

  • Lol I think I've been to all those Israel tourist spots.

  • Sounds very Christian in terms of the harmony construction not Jewish, what evidence is their to suggest that any of this music dates back to ancient Israel?

Intuitively speaking - Israeli music would probably have been very vocal, lyrical, rythmic and uplifting (to reflect the persecution and survival) - not chillout per se?

  • I am a Hebrew Catholic. i love this.

  • Reading the Old Testament as a Judeo-Christian (non-Hebrew), and thinking a great deal about the geography, tribal communities, language and music - just did a search for Israeli music, then added ancient, and came upon your site. Very appealing - wish you had a group near Wash. DC. I love many kinds of music and search constantly on youtube for music to sooth my soul. Very, very good work you are doing.
