In a sense, yes... We named the character after Zach Aikman, one of the devs on the team (Zach Aikman = Zaikman).
If you haven't guessed by now, we're both devs for the game. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Awesome videos :)

huh, thats pretty freakin awesome... tell me something, what compelled you to make this game. did beatmania have anything to do with it since the music playing part much resembles IIDX, and do you enjoy other music games as well?

We've always loved music games. Beatmania, DDR, Rez, etc... We love them all and wanted to create a new type of music game. Joe Tkach came up with the original idea, and the gameplay was evolved by all of us through the game's development. We're a bunch of audio freaks and love it.
