The LNER's first A4 Silver Link on the Sliver Jubilee of the 1930's. The train broke the record of 112mph, twice and nigel gresley came and told the driver to ease off. The footage Is not mine and neither the themtune

  • you are correct fella in my eyes they were the best tank engines around shame only 1 survived i loved those engines. i also like the gwr tank engines aswell.

  • i was on my way to kings cross when this was all happening i was on the suburban service from the north i was on my lner teak compartmant reading my news paper and smoking my cigar when all of a sudden this great silver streak rocketed past my window it shook the carriages and i dropped my cigar and burnt a hole in my news paper, i should think the poor little n2 that was taking me to london was in shock. lol
