Extraterrestrial television hijack - England - November 1977
In southern England (UK), on the evening of the 26th November 1977, it is said that an advanced extraterrestrial, using technology not available on Earth at that time, hacked into a major UK television news bulletin on ITN and delivered a six-hundred word statement, live, in English, to the viewers. The statement lasted three minutes and forty seven seconds.
The full text of the ET's statement is on link.

This is cool funny. :P
lol "lay down your arms" Isn't it funny how a lot of sci-fi movies always make aliens speak our language and not some weird alien dialect? LMAO!

Yes, but it was not a sci-fi movie signal the TV authority were giving apologies for, it was giving apologies for the illegal broadcast that happened in the United Kingdom on November 26, 1977. Major transmitters were hijacked during a live television broadcast, the hijack required considerable transmitting power, and it was a spectacular feat at the time. Some people believed it was real Aliens that hijacked the live broadcast of the evening news program.... =)

I call BS! Anyone with a strong command of language can speak much better than the ridiculous message from, *cough* an advanced being. "Earthlings"...wtf...is this a transmission from 1960? "Lay down your arms"...wtf...are they scared of projectile weapons or getting their azzes kicked? "...from outer space"...wtf...what, they are not here already and have to (specify) their location??? Yeah, trace the communication to some jack leg agency on earth...and then...lets go kick their azzes!
